Student Achievement at the National Primary Games Creation Competition

We are heartened to announce that the team fielded by our school emerged as first runners-up under the Scratch category in this year’s National Primary Games Creation Competition.

Our team comprising several Primary 4 students developed a game using the coding tool, Scratch. With the contest theme of "Prudent Savers, Values Creators", our children created a 3-stage game which incorporated elements of arcade entertainment (squashing bugs and fighting bullies) and the values of Prudent Saving and Empathy.

Through the game, the players were given opportunities to learn to spend wisely (needs vs wants) and to share their wealth by contributing to household expenses in order to become a Prudent and Caring Saver.

A hearty congratulation to the school team!
